I was home in California, but I got a chance to watch the game last night. It was a battle between two great teams, but it was not a great game. A great comeback for the Red Sox, but both teams had their number one starters get hit hard. You%u2019re not going to win games with your starters putting up ERA%u2019s of 9.00 or 7.00.

Offensively, the Yankees didn%u2019t get enough from their 2-3-4 hitters as Johnson, Teixeira and A-Rod didn%u2019t do enough. Posada hit the ball real well as did Cano. It was an enjoyable game for the fans to watch, but if you sat down to watch a Juan Marichal vs. Sandy Koufax pitching duel you were disappointed. It%u2019s important to remember the Sox beat us in their first 8 games last year before we won 9 of the last 10. Let%u2019s put this one behind us and look toward tomorrow%u2019s game.
