I'm back down in Florida after a spending a day with the rain in New York. It's looking as if Phil Hughes is going to be the Yankees 5th starter. Aceves has probably pitched just as well as him to this point in the Spring, but you have to think about the future of the team and Hughes is a big part of the future as he is just 24 years old.

Everyone is still healthy which is absolutely great. With Mariano being 39, Posada turning 39 and Derek turning 36, health is everything to our team. We're competitive, there's no doubt about that. We will be in the playoff hunt until the end as long as we can keep everyone healthy and fresh.

I'm going to be in Florida with the team for the rest of the Spring and then I'll be flying with the boys to Boston for the opener. Until next time...
